A little about me?

Here’s a little bit about me…I’m going for short and sweet as my EA tells me that I use too many words!

I had never planned on becoming a professional photographer, I sort of fell into it by accident. Let me explain…I studied Product Design at university, having gained a first class honours, I was deemed over qualified in the Millennium and found it a huge challenge to find a job. One of the key modules of my degree was photography and this fed my natural passion of capturing moments on camera. At the time my brother-in-law, now my business partner, Gurwinder, was already starting out as a wedding photographer and we paired up to cover a wedding together which at the time was unheard of. That’s where it all began…we turned our passion into a business.

We found most weddings were too staged which in turn completely lost the essence of capturing emotions and moments naturally. This motivated me to come up with my own style of capturing events where I fused photojournalism with wedding photography to create a mood that is unique, fresh, and modern yet preserved the essence of sentiments and warmth in the images. My designer skills combined with my knowledge of lighting in context to photography, enables me to create art.

With over two decades in the industry, I want to share my passion, my knowledge and skills with the next generation of keen photographers.
